Abstract |
With increasing uncertainty and expanding range of risks and threats integral to modern society, the need for trust and justice as a pillar of the sociopsychological state of society also grows. Our assumption is that to formulate theoretical foundations of the linkage between trust and justice based on logic and rationality without both historical forms of consciousness and the content of consciousness is impossible. It is of interest that the idea that justice is the wheal of a strongman still persists: we mean that for a weak one, justice is another’s benefit. Building on ideas of several medieval thinkers we drove to the conclusion that international law, laws on human rights do not prevent powerful empires from monopolies interfering in internal affairs when it is not trust but the force that shapes a socio-political landscape. One more observation also seems to be important. Any state cannot be equitable since it has an obligation to ensure the movement of society towards a future that is not always predictable due to uncertain scenarios, which entails the multitude of trust risks. One should consider justice to be more likely an evaluative notion that manifests itself after the advent of the action and acts as a basis for shaping trust. |
